Hi, I’m Lane. Welcome to my website! I’m a mother of two, a Scottish Terrier mom, a poet, a sister and daughter, a good friend to a few people, a lover of horses and riding, a disability and mental health advocate, a fundraiser—and a lot more.

In fact, I am a lot. A lot of spacing out. A lot of goofiness. A lot of awkward interactions. A lot of saying hi to strangers and getting pissed when they don’t say it back. A lot of energy (drinks), nicotine, and other vices. A lot of leg-shaking, running late, making messes—and cleaning them up.

I love hard and I’m a fierce proponent of individuality. I wrote a book called Deep, Blue Odds,and my poems have appeared in several reputable journals.
